Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in a SaaS sales engineering role.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including Databricks or Snowflake.
- Hands-on experience with data observability, data monitoring, data integration, or data quality products.
- Deep understanding of data observability industry trends and challenges.
- Strong understanding of data ecosystems, including data warehouses, data lakes, and streaming architectures.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
- Ability to analyze customer data scenarios and recommend observability strategies.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python is a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for customer and prospect meetings.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Account, Product, and Customer Support teams to identify prospect needs.
- Develop and conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations.
- Partner with Enterprise and Strategic Accounts teams to identify technical requirements and tailor sales strategies.
- Design and develop solutions customized to customer data environments.
- Draft technical proposals and statements of work (SOWs).
- Lead the implementation of Proof of Concepts (POCs) and present value-oriented results.
- Create marketing content, demo assets, and internal training materials.
- Educate the sales team on technical aspects of data observability.
- Maintain technical documentation, product guides, and knowledge base articles.
- Perform deal qualification with AEs to ensure technical fit.
