Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in a SaaS sales engineering role.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including Databricks or Snowflake.
  • Hands-on experience with data observability, data monitoring, data integration, or data quality products.
  • Deep understanding of data observability industry trends and challenges.
  • Strong understanding of data ecosystems, including data warehouses, data lakes, and streaming architectures.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to analyze customer data scenarios and recommend observability strategies.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for customer and prospect meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Account, Product, and Customer Support teams to identify prospect needs.
  • Develop and conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Partner with Enterprise and Strategic Accounts teams to identify technical requirements and tailor sales strategies.
  • Design and develop solutions customized to customer data environments.
  • Draft technical proposals and statements of work (SOWs).
  • Lead the implementation of Proof of Concepts (POCs) and present value-oriented results.
  • Create marketing content, demo assets, and internal training materials.
  • Educate the sales team on technical aspects of data observability.
  • Maintain technical documentation, product guides, and knowledge base articles.
  • Perform deal qualification with AEs to ensure technical fit.
