Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in FP&A, preferably in a Private Equity backed company.
- Extensive experience in inventory operations, accounting, and plant controllership.
- Strong background in cost accounting (standard costing, activity-based costing, and variance analysis).
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel (macros, pivot tables) and PowerPoint.
- Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Manufacturing or distribution industry experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
Responsibilities
- Serve clients across the Office of the CFO at private equity portfolio companies specializing in manufacturing and distribution.
- Evaluate current practices and provide recommendations to enhance the efficiency of accounting, finance, and operations.
- Develop and operationalize US-GAAP compliant inventory accounting policies and month-end close procedures.
- Design, implement, and optimize standard costing systems to improve understanding of product-level profitability.
- Develop frameworks for budgeting, cost control, and performance evaluation through variance analysis.
- Contribute to developing and implementing firm-approved, AI-enabled solutions for clients.
- Participate in business development activities and market services to prospective clients.
- Mentor and coach team members, providing regular feedback and performance reviews.
