Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in FP&A, preferably in a Private Equity backed company.
- Experience in the Software/SaaS industry.
- Strong experience building complex financial models for analysis and forecasting.
- Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel (e.g., advanced formulas, pivot tables) and PowerPoint.
- Experience conversing with Controller groups and accounting teams regarding revenue recognition, income statements, and cash flow.
- Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Demonstrated ability to explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools.
- Willingness to travel up to 40%.
- CPA is a plus.
- Knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx, SQL) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Serve clients within the Office of the CFO at private equity portfolio companies, creating a diagnostic framework and enhancing finance function effectiveness.
- Lead the implementation of a portfolio support capability, including the development of bottoms-up annual budgets and forecasts for the SaaS industry.
- Prepare financial management reports across key metrics like ARR, bookings, and headcount.
- Assess and modify analytical resources, tools, models, and methodologies to enhance decision-making.
- Review and assist with cash management including monthly and 13-week cash flow forecasts.
- Contribute to developing and implementing firm-approved, AI-enabled solutions for clients.
- Participate in business development activities and market services to prospective clients.
- Mentor and coach team members, providing regular feedback and performance reviews.
