Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, preferably within a Private Equity backed company.
- Proven experience in the Software / SaaS industry.
- Expertise in financial statement analysis including revenue recognition, income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
- Experience building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to responsibly adopt and apply AI tools.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% based on client needs.
- CPA certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of data analytics tools like Tableau, Alteryx, or SQL is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Serve clients within the Office of the CFO at private equity portfolio companies to enhance finance function effectiveness.
- Develop bottoms-up annual budgets and forecasts based on SaaS operational drivers like bookings and headcount.
- Prepare financial management reports covering ARR, bookings, and headcount performance vs budget.
- Build and modify analytical models, including ARR roll-forward snowballs for retention analysis.
- Manage cash flow forecasting, including development of monthly and 13-week projections.
- Utilize and implement AI-enabled solutions for client service in compliance with firm policies.
- Mentor team members and assist project teams in resolving complex issues.
