Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and stay organized in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive mindset with willingness to learn and collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support underwriting teams from submission intake through policy issuance and post-bind servicing.
  • Build and maintain Statement of Value (SOV) files and other underwriting documentation using Excel and internal systems.
  • Prepare, generate, and issue policy documents with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Manage high-volume underwriting inboxes, triaging incoming requests and ensuring proper routing.
  • Enter, verify, and maintain data integrity across underwriting platforms.
  • Update and distribute recurring reports, including data extraction, tables, and visual summaries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Data Science, Compliance, and Underwriting.
  • Conduct basic research on renewable energy technologies, market developments, and insured assets.
  • Assist in tracking broker and client information.
  • Support preliminary review of claims and document loss history.
