Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in M&A, business development, private equity, business brokerage, legal consulting, or corporate development.
- Proven ability to build trust and develop relationships with business owners and executives.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management capabilities.
- Financial acumen with experience in performance metrics and strategic evaluation.
- Experience with acquisition due diligence processes.
- Familiarity with legal industry dynamics is preferred.
- Existing professional network within the legal industry is highly desirable.
- Experience supporting multi-location growth initiatives is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate law firm acquisition opportunities by researching target firms and building a strong pipeline.
- Monitor market trends and business indicators to prioritize potential acquisition targets.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with law firm owners and partners through strategic outreach.
- Conduct preliminary assessments of targets by analyzing financial, operational, and organizational information.
- Manage the entire acquisition lifecycle, coordinating between prospective partners and firm leadership.
- Provide strategic recommendations to executive leadership regarding growth and market penetration.
