Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Engineering Support, or Software Development.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience in a technical field like software engineering, data analysis, or systems integration.
- Technical knowledge and understanding of telematics, IoT, APIs, and related technologies.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python, SQL, Java, or C#.
- Ability to work with Agile project management, ticketing, and CRM tools like JIRA and Salesforce.
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools like Superset or Power BI.
- Effective problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams including sales and product development.
- Experience with sales or business development in indirect sales channels.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the Geotab ecosystem to empower end-users and partners.
- Engage with partners and end-users to optimize utilization of Geotab technology and tailor approaches to their needs.
- Collaborate with revenue-generating teams to identify and deliver technical solutions for customer challenges.
- Conduct technical activities including discovery, requirements gathering, and technical demonstrations.
- Support partner upskilling and drive excellence across unique channels using best practices.
- Assess business challenges and propose viable technical approaches or alternatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation of customer/partner engagements and solution designs.
