Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (or equivalent)
- Master of Science in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice degree (or equivalent)
- Hold an active license to practice in New York
- Board Certification
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in psychiatric medication management
- Experience with clinical assessments and differential diagnosis
- Experience with clinical risk management, suicide risk assessment, and safety planning
- Experience using validated clinical tools
- Experience working with an electronic medical record
- Comfortable using technology
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive clinical assessments and develop differential diagnosis
- Provide psychiatric medication management
- Build therapeutic alliance with patients
- Create and implement co-created personalized treatment plans with our multidisciplinary team
- Manage a caseload of patients providing medication management for 8 to 12 weeks
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessment and safety planning
- Utilize validated clinical tools to aid in differential diagnosis
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate comprehensive crisis care
- Maintain appropriate clinical documentation
