Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in sales or business development within the life sciences, biotech, or pharmaceutical industry.
- Demonstrated success managing complex sales cycles and growing mid- to large-scale accounts.
- Strong understanding of cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or related scientific disciplines.
- Working knowledge of drug discovery workflows, pre-clinical development, and the Cell & Gene Therapy landscape.
- Proven ability to develop strategic customer relationships using a consultative selling approach.
- Strong business acumen, including proficiency in forecasting, pipeline management, and territory planning.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to influence stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and organized with the ability to manage priorities in a remote environment.
- Ability to travel up to 30%.
Responsibilities
- Own and lead the full sales cycle for mid- to high-value accounts, including prospecting, negotiation, and account growth.
- Develop and execute territory strategies to identify, prioritize, and convert high-potential opportunities into revenue.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective pipeline management and strategic deal execution.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers to position the company as a trusted partner.
- Identify and drive new business while expanding existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling.
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility to ensure timely progression and deal closure.
- Collaborate with scientific support, product management, and marketing teams to deliver tailored customer solutions.
