Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of leadership, or Master's degree with 13+ years of leadership.
- Department of Defense secret security clearance.
- Proven experience defining and executing successful business growth strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, pursue, and win large capture efforts in the Strategic Systems market.
- Broad market awareness including budgets, customer priorities, and mission gaps.
- Expert knowledge of government contracting and acquisition practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships with senior-level customers and internal counterparts.
- Familiarity with international business and export processes.
- Ability to utilize AI for continuous improvement and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Direct business development activities for the Strategic systems portfolio.
- Maintain key business development contacts with current and potential customers.
- Evaluate and manage new business opportunities, initiatives, partnerships, alliances and/or joint ventures.
- Oversee market analysis, monitor competitive activity, and identify customer needs.
- Mentor and coach capture managers and serve as a capture manager for assigned opportunities.
- Define vision, strategies, and action plans for the business area.
- Direct the development of short- and long-range objectives, including annual strategic planning processes.
- Manage staffing, budgets, and expense priorities for the organization.
