Requirements
- Systems thinking ability to connect backend services to design systems.
- Experience in technically complex spaces, specifically tracing, metrics, monitoring, or analytics software.
- Background as a developer or history working on technical SaaS products.
- Strong communication skills with a willingness to give and receive feedback.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and curiosity in using data to inform decisions.
- Ability to set a vision while identifying iterative pieces of value.
- Experience shepherding product work from prototype to general availability.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity to reach clarity.
Responsibilities
- Own driving the work and outcomes across ingest, querying, data retrieval, storage, and our internal design system.
- Prioritize scalable, reliable, and maintainable capabilities in service of long-term strategic visions.
- Collaborate closely with platform engineering and cross-functional teams in product and design.
- Understand the developer experience space and support it with platform fundamentals.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to facilitate technical conversations and stay close to the field.
- Advocate empathetically for user interests throughout the product lifecycle.
- Charter product discovery adventures based on stakeholder guidance.
