Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) sales.
- Prior experience in Class 6–Class 8 truck sales or electric vehicle (EV) truck sales is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of sales principles, methodologies, and management systems.
- Proven experience negotiating contracts and influencing stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, track performance metrics, and generate reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows–based applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply logical reasoning.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the United States up to 70% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Develop, direct, and execute regional sales plans and strategies to improve profitability and service levels.
- Expand existing accounts, develop new business, and build a strong account portfolio.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
- Lead contract negotiations with prospective and existing customers.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to assess sales potential, customer preferences, and inventory requirements.
- Represent the company at trade association meetings, conferences, and expos.
- Maintain strong knowledge of the EV truck market, including OEMs, incentives, and industry trends.
