Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Bioengineering; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience within the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue and profit growth in complex sales environments.
  • Strong understanding of drug discovery, drug manufacturing/QC, and cell & gene therapy market segments.
  • Demonstrated success in channel management, performance management, and coaching.
  • Exceptional core selling skills including prospecting, funnel management, and consultative selling.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with international teams and executive leadership.
  • Willingness and ability to travel across North America approximately 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional distribution sales strategies to expand market penetration and revenue growth.
  • Define and align distributor targets, KPIs, and expectations in collaboration with the Head of Distributor Management.
  • Manage sales delivery, forecasting, and inventory levels for designated distributors.
  • Lead structured recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes for the distributor portfolio.
  • Plan and coordinate distributor training programs including product, application, and sales process enablement.
  • Collaborate with internal Marketing, SMEs, and Product Management teams to execute partner marketing and support complex sales opportunities.
