Requirements
- Strong engineering fundamentals and track record of shipping secure, reliable, and scalable production systems.
- Practical experience designing or adopting agentic or automation workflows and improving them through iteration.
- Ability to think in systems: define specs, break down plans, instrument verification, and ensure quality.
- Proficiency with Postgres or similar relational databases.
- Experience with CI/CD workflows using tools like GitLab, GitHub, or Jenkins.
- Demonstrates strong automation and AI capabilities and AI fluency.
- Experience with Functional Programming languages like Elixir, Erlang, Scala, Clojure, or Haskell is a plus.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS is a plus.
- Familiarity with modern frontend stacks like React, Next.js, Vue, or Angular is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of major team-scoped projects for HR and Payroll products.
- Actively participate in product work, suggesting solutions and improvements based on technical expertise.
- Maintain deep understanding of the team's domain and contribute to the shared codebase.
- Debug and resolve technical and business issues while participating in support rotations.
- Mentor and provide guidance to other engineers.
- Propose and operationalize end-to-end agentic workflows (spec, plan, execute, verify).
- Build reusable agentic workflows and primitives to improve platform development.
- Implement verification loops including tests, checks, evaluations, and guardrails.
