Requirements
- Solid backend development experience, ideally with Go.
- Good understanding of storage solutions (e.g., MySQL, SQLite, Postgres).
- Experience delivering projects from requirements gathering to shipping products.
- Proven ability to write clean, robust, and performant software.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to analyze complex challenges and design modular solutions.
- Commitment to developer and user experience.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, or SRE operational tasks is a plus.
- Exposure to microservices and distributed systems is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Work with the team to deliver new functionality and iterate based on results.
- Contribute to and review design documents for upcoming features.
- Contribute to open-source projects beyond immediate team scope.
- Influence the product roadmap and define career objectives.
- Participate in on-call rotations and take ownership of service operations.
- Mentor team members and collaborate through design discussions.
- Share knowledge and ideas across different technical mindsets.
- Collaborate closely with other squads in the Grafana Division.
