Requirements
- Solid backend development experience, ideally with Go.
- Strong understanding of storage solutions and relational databases (MySQL, SQLite, Postgres).
- Experience delivering projects from requirements gathering to shipping in a self-driven manner.
- Proven ability to write clean, robust, and maintainable software.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers in an asynchronous, collaborative environment.
- Ability to analyze, design, and build modular solutions for complex technical challenges.
- Strong focus on developer and user experience.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes (preferred).
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, or SRE operational tasks (preferred).
- Exposure to microservices and distributed systems (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Work with the team to deliver new functionality and iterate based on results.
- Contribute to and review design documents for upcoming features.
- Engage with open-source projects beyond direct team scope.
- Influence team roadmap and personal career objectives.
- Participate in on-call rotations and take ownership of service operations.
- Mentor team members and lead design discussions.
- Collaborate across the broader Grafana Division.
