Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles, specifically ASC 606, ASC 718, and ASC 350-40.
- Demonstrated experience with full-cycle AP, AR, and general ledger accounting.
- Proficiency in Sage Intacct or comparable ERP software.
- Experience with Bill.com (BILL) and expense management platforms like Ramp.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, financial modeling).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, high-growth environment.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate chart of accounts application.
- Lead monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, including banking, fixed assets, accruals, and equity.
- Oversee full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare revenue and stock-based compensation entries in accordance with ASC 606 and ASC 718.
- Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including flux analysis and debt compliance.
- Manage tax compliance filings and corporate credit card/expense controls via Ramp.
- Assist with annual external audits by preparing PBC schedules and liaising with auditors.
- Drive process improvements and automation of accounting workflows.
