Requirements
- 3–5+ years experience as a Solutions or Sales Engineer in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Proven track record of personally owning demos and POCs.
- Hands-on technical ability with APIs, webhooks, and authentication methods.
- Proficiency with Postman for testing and validating endpoints.
- Working knowledge of the e-commerce CX stack, including Shopify and platforms like Gorgias, Zendesk, Kustomer, or Dixa.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience writing tight SOWs, RFP responses, and technical handoffs.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, small-team startup environment.
- Strong self-direction and ability to build process and leverage.
Responsibilities
- Own technical pre-sales, including running live demos tailored to prospect problems and data.
- Lead technical discovery and validation to map prospect stacks and propose feasible solutions.
- Manage multi-week proof-of-concept (POC) trials, including setup, integration, automation buildout, and troubleshooting.
- Scope and build custom integrations using APIs and webhooks, and test functionality via Postman.
- Draft and price Statements of Work (SOWs) for custom integrations and configurations.
- Translate field feedback into product roadmap improvements for Engineering and Product teams.
- Maintain demo environment and asset libraries to support the wider GTM team.
