Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (ideally entering senior year).
- Hands-on experience in at least one of: Java, Kotlin, Javascript, Typescript, or Python.
- Eagerness to learn and a can-do attitude.
- Understanding of secure coding practices.
- Ability to work 25 hours per week for a 2-3 month period.
- Experience with React framework (preferred).
- Experience with Git/Github (preferred).
- Experience with AWS or other cloud environments (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Assist with the development and maintenance of web applications using Python 3.9, Django, and DRF.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle.
- Assist with code reviews and contribute to improving the security aspects of applications.
- Develop automated tests to ensure application reliability and security.
- Contribute to technical documentation including design docs, API documentation, and release notes.
- Assist with the implementation of integrations with 3rd party services like Google, AWS, and ServiceNow.
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to identify vulnerabilities and implement secure coding practices.
