Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in an operation support role with incident response.
- Good understanding of Linux and Linux Shell.
- Mid to advanced Linux administration and scripting skills.
- Proficiency in Bash scripting.
- Proficiency in a configuration management tool such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Experience with monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with incident tracking and ticketing systems.
- Understanding of escalation procedures.
- Highly curious, driven, and detail-oriented.
- Strong collaborative mindset for improving existing processes.
- Ability to work quickly and iterate fast.
- Trading or exchange experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide support for MEMX exchange platforms during the US overnight shift.
- Respond to incidents and triage issues including on-call support.
- Isolate and resolve unplanned system outages.
- Collaborate with market operations, systems, networking, and development teams.
- Identify and implement improvements for operational processes like deployments and upgrades.
- Document actions to turn findings into repeatable and automatable procedures.
- Debug issues across services and interaction points.
- Enhance monitoring and alerting systems based on observed symptoms.
- Execute and oversee manual processes essential to exchange operations.
