Requirements

  • 8+ years experience in positioning and selling large, complex solutions into the political sector.
  • Experience in both acquiring new business and cultivating existing relationships.
  • Proven track record of consistent over quota achievement within a solutions software vendor.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience building multi-level, consultative relationships with C-level executives.
  • Experience with solution-selling or consultative selling methodologies.
  • Experience navigating a complex sales process.

Responsibilities

  • Own individual sales pipeline and committed contract revenue.
  • Prepare accurate forecasts of expected spend and closing dates.
  • Negotiate commitment and exclusivity contracts with existing clients.
  • Facilitate and run product presentations for prospective clients.
  • Manage lead research and prospecting through LinkedIn, research, and networks.
  • Maintain sales data in Hubspot.
  • Conduct discovery calls to identify pain points and decision-makers.
