Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of property-level accounting experience in hospitality or real estate.
- 1+ year managing or mentoring other team members.
- Strong proficiency in property-level hospitality accounting and cash flow forecasting.
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Understanding of financial regulations, GAAP, and USALI reporting standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and present timely and accurate financial reports for approximately 30 properties.
- Own the general ledger for the assigned region.
- Review preparation of financial statements to ensure compliance with contracts.
- Perform variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario planning.
- Manage and mentor junior accountants in the US and Mexico.
- Coordinate with offshore teams on reconciliations and payments.
- Identify and implement process automation and cost reduction initiatives.
- Manage cash flow and treasury functions for the portfolio.
