Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a data engineer or similar role
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational database design
- Hands-on experience with cloud Data Warehouse solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure Synapse)
- Strong Python programming skills including Pandas and NumPy
- Experience with Big Data technologies (Spark, MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive)
- Proficiency in data pipeline and workflow management tools (e.g., Airflow)
- Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, AWS QuickSight)
- Experience with AWS or Azure data engineering services
- High level of English proficiency to interact with U.S.-based clients
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Collaboration with U.S-based client stakeholders on solution design and definition
- Translating business requirements into technical specifications and actionable work
- Writing code and implementing proposed data solutions
- Creating, versioning, and managing complex data pipelines
- Developing ETL/ELT processes to extract and manipulate data from multiple sources
- Designing, building, and maintaining batch or real-time data pipelines in production
- Automating data workflows including ingestion and aggregation
- Performing logging and instrumentation of pipelines and services
- Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, privacy, security, and compliance through quality control
