Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud platform engineering, or infrastructure.
- Strong cloud platform experience across AWS and/or Azure.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines and tooling.
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
- Working knowledge of SQL for platform troubleshooting and data flow validation.
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
- Experience delivering projects in a consulting or managed services environment.
- Active daily use of AI coding tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end operational delivery for cloud-native data platform environments.
- Translate business and technical requirements into resilient, cost-effective platform solutions.
- Build, deploy, and maintain infrastructure-as-code configurations and CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor and support production data jobs and pipelines (ETL/ELT).
- Collaborate with architects, data engineering, and client stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership during troubleshooting and platform deployments.
- Contribute to internal initiatives like IaC templates and automation scripts.
- Mentor junior engineers and share best practices.
