Requirements

  • 3 to 5+ years of hands-on CRO experience in a DTC or performance marketing environment.
  • Proven experience building a CRO program from scratch.
  • Fluency in A/B testing platforms such as Intelligems, VWO, Optimizely, or equivalent.
  • Deep understanding of the full acquisition funnel and offer architecture.
  • Data literacy including statistical significance and test design.
  • Ability to write crisp, actionable briefs for Design and Dev teams.
  • Full overlap with US Eastern or Central time zone hours.
  • Experience at a DTC subscription brand (bonus).
  • Background in direct-response or performance creative environments (bonus).
  • Familiarity with Shopify or headless ecommerce stack (bonus).
  • Experience with contribution margin modeling (bonus).

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement the full CRO operating system including intake, prioritization, and documentation.
  • Maintain a prioritized, always-active testing backlog.
  • Manage end-to-end test lifecycle: ideation, brief, design, dev, QA, launch, analysis, and rollout.
  • Write clear, actionable briefs that enable Design and Dev to execute efficiently.
  • Build a closed-loop integration with paid media and creative teams.
  • Improve new customer conversion rate and NC-ROAS through experimentation.
  • Optimize for first-order contribution margin, including AOV, subscription, and upsell mechanics.
  • Establish a structured reporting cadence for performance and roadmap planning.
