Requirements
- 5+ years of end-to-end payroll processing experience.
- Proven experience with multi-state US payroll.
- Demonstrated experience with Rippling payroll administration.
- Hands-on experience with federal, state, and local employment tax filings.
- Strong understanding of US payroll regulations (FLSA, IRS, FICA, FUTA, SUI).
- Experience managing third-party payroll or EOR vendor relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end semi-monthly, bi-weekly, and off-cycle US payroll runs in Rippling.
- Oversee international payroll processing across multiple countries via third-party providers.
- Ensure federal, state, and local payroll tax compliance, including W-2 and 1099 filings.
- Serve as a Rippling power user for system configuration and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate annual 401(k) plan audits and reconcile contribution data.
- Maintain payroll controls, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
- Partner with HR and Finance to reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies.
