Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in tax, accounting, or finance roles
  • Strong understanding of U.S. multi-state sales and use tax regulations
  • Hands-on experience with tax reconciliations, workpapers, and close-cycle accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for large datasets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to research complex tax issues
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Self-starter mindset

Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of indirect tax filings and supporting workpapers for U.S. sales and use tax compliance
  • Prepare, review, and maintain sales and use tax account reconciliations
  • Assist with financial reporting activities, including journal entries and tax-related schedules
  • Manage and support tax audits, notices, and inquiries
  • Maintain accurate tax records and compliance trackers
  • Monitor changes in state and local tax legislation and assess impact
  • Research indirect tax implications for new products and business initiatives
  • Partner cross-functionally to embed tax requirements into operational workflows
  • Support tax system testing, including UAT and validation of tax engine outputs
  • Identify discrepancies in tax calculations through data analysis
