Requirements

  • Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
  • Current and unrestricted license to practice in Arizona.
  • 1 year or more of experience working with children or families with developmental differences.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based psychotherapy treatment approaches (CBT, narrative therapy, etc.).
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
  • Ability to obtain cross-state licensure as business needs require.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client care.
  • Open-mindedness and desire to learn from interdisciplinary colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct client counseling services to families, couples, and children.
  • Utilize therapeutic approaches including Narrative Therapy, CBT, Play Therapy, and Solution Focused Collaborative Therapy.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team across neurological, sensorimotor, communication, and behavior therapies.
  • Participate in family care meetings with other providers.
  • Comply with clinic policies and all state/federal laws and licensing board regulations.
  • Maintain documentation and communication in line with legal, ethical, and company standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality and mandated reporting compliance.
  • Adhere to organizational standards and policies.
