Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on Workday Payroll experience (implementation and/or AMS support)
- Strong functional knowledge of Workday Payroll configuration, processes, and reporting tools
- Experience building calculated fields, advanced reports, and dashboards within Workday
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze complex datasets effectively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote consulting environment
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to proactively identify issues and propose solutions
- Experience working in consulting or multi-client environments is an asset
Responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions to translate complex payroll requirements into effective Workday Payroll configurations
- Design, configure, and optimize Workday Payroll solutions aligned with client business needs
- Build and maintain calculated fields, reports, dashboards, and payroll analytics to improve visibility and accuracy
- Identify system inefficiencies and implement enhancements to improve payroll processing and operational performance
- Provide subject matter expertise and advisory support across multiple client implementations and support engagements
- Troubleshoot payroll issues, analyze root causes, and deliver sustainable technical solutions
- Manage multiple concurrent projects with strong prioritization, autonomy, and client-facing communication
- Share best practices and guide clients through evolving Workday Payroll functionality and updates
