Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- 2+ years in Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, Tech Lead, or Architect roles
- Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI or similar)
- Experience designing and scaling distributed systems and data-intensive platforms
- Background in data engineering (ETL pipelines, data processing workflows)
- Hands-on experience with Databricks
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker)
- Understanding of AI/LLM-based systems and agent architectures
- Strong communication skills
Responsibilities
- Define and own the end-to-end architecture for a new AI and data intelligence platform
- Design and implement backend services, data pipelines, and integration patterns
- Provide technical leadership and hands-on guidance to engineers
- Review code, design proposals, and engineering outputs
- Collaborate with product stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Build and evolve data platform components including ETL and AI-enabled workflows
- Contribute directly to development of AI agents and system integration
- Drive engineering best practices including testing, documentation, and observability
