Engineering at iwoca
Our engineering teams build robust systems that power iwoca’s financial products and internal operations. We tackle complex challenges in credit risk modeling, internal tool development, and scalable infrastructure. You will work on back-end systems using Python frameworks like Django, FastAPI, Flask, or Ninja, supported by relational databases like PostgreSQL. We continuously evolve our architecture, ensuring dependability as we scale. Our engineers advocate for quality through rigorous code reviews and design sessions, driving better engineering practices. For our Credit Risk team, you will own the infrastructure behind our production ML, leading engineers and working with data scientists. You will improve how iwoca’s models are built, deployed, and monitored at scale. We value a generalist mindset, challenging assumptions to find optimal solutions. We use modern tools, including AI, to maximize quality, speed, and rigor in our technical work. This direct impact on credit decisions ensures responsible lending and supports our ambitious growth.
