Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- 10–15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise sales, business development, or vertical market leadership
- Proven leadership experience managing distributed, high-performing sales or development teams
- Strong expertise in Local Government markets across the U.S. and Canada
- Understanding of procurement processes and stakeholder dynamics
- Demonstrated success in large-scale solution selling and complex deal structuring
- Strong financial acumen, including forecasting and margin management
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Experience working across cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and product development
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, energy systems, sustainability, or smart building solutions
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute vertical-specific growth strategies focused on Local Government accounts.
- Lead and coach Area General Managers, Development Managers, and sales teams.
- Own forecasting, sales planning, and performance tracking.
- Drive large and complex deal execution, including pricing strategy and contract negotiation.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key public sector stakeholders.
- Identify emerging market trends and regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, marketing, and product teams.
- Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing sales and development talent.
- Establish scalable sales methodologies and governance practices.
