Requirements

  • Advanced scientific or medical degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent).
  • 14+ years of relevant experience in medical affairs, clinical research, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial methodology, regulatory requirements, and protocol design.
  • Proven ability to operate in global, cross-functional teams (R&D, clinical, regulatory, commercial, statistics).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to scientific audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with external stakeholders including key opinion leaders.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution in evidence generation.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 20–25% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Lead integrated medical planning by performing gap analyses and identifying opportunities within Integrated Evidence Plans.
  • Develop disease area frameworks, including patient journey mapping and study strategies.
  • Oversee evidence generation activities, including study funnel development, budgeting, and execution planning.
  • Translate scientific and clinical insights from key opinion leaders into actionable recommendations.
  • Drive scientific communication strategy by forecasting publications, abstracts, and posters.
  • Contribute to medical input for product strategy, launches, and market access activities.
  • Author and support medical grants and represent the organization at scientific and investigator meetings.
