Requirements
- MD degree required, residency or post-graduate training preferred.
- 8–10+ years of experience in clinical practice, healthcare operations, or consulting.
- Strong understanding of physician workflows and clinical decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in complex healthcare settings.
- Experience improving healthcare delivery systems or operational efficiency.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting operational data.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with diagnostic, oncology, or precision medicine environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead physician-facing medical operations for ordering providers, serving as a trusted clinical peer.
- Own and evolve physician onboarding and engagement processes to improve adoption and retention.
- Partner with Medical Affairs, Laboratory, Engineering, and Commercial teams for system-wide optimization.
- Oversee analysis of physician ordering behavior and operational metrics to identify inefficiencies.
- Guide the resolution of clinical escalations and physician concerns.
- Drive improvements in specimen quality, turnaround time, and ordering accuracy.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives to reduce provider attrition and improve physician experience.
