Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing employee lifecycle events with legal compliance.
  • Ability to provide guidance on employment laws and regulations across jurisdictions.
  • Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English at a business level.
  • Strong communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills.
  • Tech-savvy with experience in asynchronous collaboration tools.
  • Proficiency in Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G-suite.
  • Active use of AI-assisted tools for drafting, research, and workflow automation.
  • Knowledge of responsible AI use practices regarding data handling and confidentiality.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours.
  • Experience managing long-term sick leave or extended absence cases preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage employee lifecycle leave and working hours, including Family Leave, Sick Leave, and Time Tracking.
  • Serve as an expert on Time & Attendance matters and assist with complex projects and Collective Bargaining Agreement updates.
  • Advise clients and employees on employment legislation and labor law interpretations.
  • Coordinate with payroll, legal counsel, and government bodies for compliance.
  • Develop and update global internal documentation pertaining to Time & Attendance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and AI adoption.
  • Maintain secure employee data and confidential information according to protocols.
