- Ability to write strategic documentation like narratives and proposals.
- Proven track record of delivering results in ambiguous, high-pressure situations.
- Familiarity with domain-driven design.
- Ability to work with US timezone distributed teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers (up to Staff level) to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Build a collaborative and high-performing team culture focused on accountability, innovation, and excellence.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and foster career growth.
- Define the team’s vision and roadmap, aligning with organizational goals.
- Partner with product managers to clarify business requirements and drive projects like FHIR translation, mono-repo decomposition, and event-streaming.
- Balance short-term deliverables with long-term scalability.
- Collaborate with Principal Engineers on scalable software solutions and mitigate technical risks.
- Establish best practices for development, testing, and operations.
- Represent the team to senior leadership and stakeholders.
