Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Legal Studies, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in contract administration, negotiation, or management in the Australian pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research (CRO/FSP) industry.
- Strong understanding of contract law principles, regulatory frameworks, and clinical research standards.
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex contractual language.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and negotiate clinical research contracts with investigative sites and internal stakeholders.
- Analyze contractual terms to identify risks, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Provide expert guidance to study teams on contract interpretation and legal/operational implications.
- Maintain accurate contract records, tracking milestones, deadlines, and execution status.
- Support the development of contract management processes, templates, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth contract flow and timely execution.
- Ensure alignment with global FSP standards and Australian regulatory/site requirements.
