Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with significant experience in SaaS.
- Strong expertise in revenue accounting and ARR metrics.
- Hands-on experience with Maxio.
- Proven experience in multi-entity and multi-currency environments.
- Deep understanding of ASC 606.
- Ownership experience across invoicing, collections, and AR.
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to operate independently.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, compliance requirements, and best practices.
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end revenue accounting for a high-growth SaaS business, ensuring compliance with ASC 606.
- Own and maintain accurate ARR, MRR, churn, expansion, and related SaaS metrics.
- Serve as the primary owner of Maxio, including billing setup, revenue schedules, reporting, and system integrations.
- Own the full invoicing process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with customer contracts.
- Manage customer collections, including AR aging, follow-ups, and dispute resolution.
- Own vendor setup processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
- Manage revenue, billing, and accounts receivable across multiple legal entities and currencies.
- Lead revenue-related activities for monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
- Review customer contracts in partnership with Legal, Sales, and Deal Desk.
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
