Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in billing or revenue operations in a SaaS/subscription company.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Zuora (invoicing, catalog, amendments, reporting).
- Foundational knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles.
- Experience handling complex, non-standard billing scenarios.
- Proven experience using AI tools for finance or operations workflows.
- Strong ability to interpret contract language and apply to billing setup.
- Customer-facing communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end billing operations including complex subscriptions, renewals, and amendments.
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert for Zuora configuration and optimization.
- Support month-end close activities and ASC 606 revenue recognition processes.
- Manage AR collections and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Drive AI adoption within finance to automate reconciliation and anomaly detection.
- Act as a senior point of contact for customer billing inquiries.
- Collaborate with Legal and Sales on contract review and billing implications.
