Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or equivalent non-US actuarial credential.
  • Minimum 10 years of post-fellowship experience in group benefits pricing.
  • Expertise in Group Life, Short-Term Disability (STD), and Long-Term Disability (LTD).
  • Experience with Group Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML).
  • Experience with Group Dental and Vision insurance.
  • Significant leadership experience.
  • Strong strategic visioning and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead group pricing function for Life, Absence, and Disability $4b block of business.
  • Drive profitable growth through strategic pricing decisions and analytics.
  • Develop and execute pricing philosophy and strategy in partnership with Sales, Underwriting, and Corporate Actuarial leadership.
  • Oversee reinsurance for group benefit products to manage risk retention.
  • Support product development initiatives.
  • Mentor and provide coaching to team members.
  • Translate actuarial insights for non-technical stakeholders.
