Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or equivalent non-US actuarial credential.
- Minimum 10 years of post-fellowship experience in group benefits pricing.
- Expertise in Group Life, Short-Term Disability (STD), and Long-Term Disability (LTD).
- Experience with Group Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML).
- Experience with Group Dental and Vision insurance.
- Significant leadership experience.
- Strong strategic visioning and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead group pricing function for Life, Absence, and Disability $4b block of business.
- Drive profitable growth through strategic pricing decisions and analytics.
- Develop and execute pricing philosophy and strategy in partnership with Sales, Underwriting, and Corporate Actuarial leadership.
- Oversee reinsurance for group benefit products to manage risk retention.
- Support product development initiatives.
- Mentor and provide coaching to team members.
- Translate actuarial insights for non-technical stakeholders.
