Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA certification (preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and GAAP expertise.
- In-depth understanding of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606).
- Experience with NetSuite (required).
- Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and guide daily accounting operations, including general ledger accounting, accounts payable and receivable, and month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and all relevant regulations.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Oversee the revenue recognition process (ASC 606).
- Oversee and manage the annual financial audit, income tax preparation, and SOX compliance.
- Cultivate a high-performing team environment, delegating tasks and mentoring staff.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes.
