Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in engineering consulting, technology, or retail.
- Understanding of ASC 606.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking abilities.
- Team leadership experience preferred.
- Oracle experience is a plus.
- Inventory or Software Accounting experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Recognize revenue for products, software, and services in compliance with ASC 606.
- Review contract terms to set up project codes, revenue methods, and billing formulas in Oracle.
- Prepare detailed financial reports including cost, variance, and profitability analysis.
- Prepare and review project invoices.
- Manage client communication and project manager relations.
- Prepare and post journal entries for project costs and revenues.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Assist with external audits.
- Handle complex projects and support junior team members.
- Assist the Revenue Manager with ad hoc reporting.
