Requirements
- 3+ years leading and developing software engineers
- 8+ years of experience as an individual contributor in DevOps/SRE/platform/infrastructure or software engineering roles
- Strong experience operating production systems in AWS
- Experience operating modern build and deploy pipelines
- Experience with observability stacks such as Datadog, Grafana, CloudWatch, or ELK
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/ECS)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Responsibilities
- Hire, mentor, and grow engineers
- Own the health of CI/CD, deployment, and runtime infrastructure
- Create developer-facing tooling to reduce toil
- Improve build and deploy pipelines and release safety
- Implement and mature logging, metrics, and alerting
- Standardize and scale infrastructure using IaC
- Work closely with Security and compliance stakeholders
- Partner with application teams to improve deployability and operability
