Requirements
- Previous experience in an engineering management or team lead role.
- Experience working in compliance-regulated, government, or security-sensitive environments.
- Knowledge of frameworks like FedRAMP or CMMC.
- Experience with AWS GovCloud or Azure Government.
- Familiarity with air-gapped or restricted networks.
- Strong technical track record as a software, infrastructure, or systems engineer.
- Technical aptitude in tools like Ruby, Rails, React, TypeScript, Postgres, Redis, Docker, AWS, and AWS CDK.
- Commitment to supporting developer productivity and engineering processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage an engineering team of 3-6 infrastructure and software engineers.
- Support growth and development of engineers through coaching and mentorship.
- Collaborate with GTM, CS, and Security teams to plan and prioritize compliance-related projects.
- Facilitate communication across Product & Engineering and other departments.
- Act as an escalation point for technical issues in government environments.
- Contribute to technical discussions while preserving team autonomy.
- Refine engineering processes and change control practices for a regulated environment.
- Recruit and attract engineering talent.
- Foster a culture of inclusion and collaboration.
