- 5+ years of management experience in engineering.
- Ability to set technical strategy and connect it to team execution.
- Active practitioner of AI-powered development tools.
- Experience building roadmaps, planning capacity, and evaluating trade-offs.
- Proven ability to attract, retain, and develop engineering talent.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong cross-functional influence skills.
- Comfortable working in a highly regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, emphasizing technical excellence, productivity, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical strategies with business goals.
- Engage in direct technical contributions approximately 5–10% of time (code reviews, architecture, debugging).
- Foster an inclusive culture and drive the professional growth of the team.
- Navigate complex projects within regulated industries, embedding security and compliance.
- Define Billing domain strategy for 12–24 months and translate into actionable objectives.
- Model and drive the use of AI-powered developer tools as a core part of the SDLC.
