Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred.
- 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience in a finance or leadership role.
- At least 3 years in an IT Finance role.
- Minimum 3–5 years supporting IT, Technology, or CIO organizations.
- Experience with IT budgeting and cost structures (run vs change, infra/app/platform cost components).
- Hands-on experience with IT cost transparency tools or TBM/ITFM tooling (e.g., Apptio, Cloudability, Nicus, MagicOrange, YäRKEN).
- Experience building chargeback/showback models or service unit costs.
- Understanding of cloud consumption economics (AWS/Azure/GCP billing, RI/SP decisions).
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals (Chart of Accounts, Cost Centres).
- Demonstrated executive presence and ability to establish credibility with executives.
- Excellent research and English writing ability.
Responsibilities
- Create innovative, thought provoking, and highly leveraged “must-have” insights.
- Serve as an authority on sound financial management of the technology budget.
- Deliver strong positions on best and emerging practices for CIOs to manage finances.
- Present IT Financial management content in one-to-one and one-to-many forums.
- Develop predictions and scenarios about the future of IT Financial Management.
- Provide sales support and act as the voice of the market for internal teams.
- Provide high quality and timely content peer review.
- Mentor and coach more junior team members.
