Requirements

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline, or commensurate work experience.
  • 7-10 years of work experience in account management, tele sales, or product specialty.
  • Proven ability to successfully deliver quota on a quarterly basis.
  • Experience selling into the US Army is preferred.
  • Strong skills in business development, cold calling, and conflict resolution.
  • Proficiency in customer relationship management and outside sales.
  • Ability to work on complex problems requiring in-depth analysis of multiple factors.
  • Effective communication and results orientation skills.
  • Demonstrated learning agility and digital fluency.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates subject matter expertise and employs consultative-selling techniques to identify and advance opportunities.
  • Coordinates and owns account plans for strategic commercial accounts, focusing on larger deals and portfolio management.
  • Identifies complex customer requirements and maps them with the organization’s capabilities.
  • Builds strong professional relationships with high-level clients and aligns solutions accordingly.
  • Develops and executes sales strategies, territory account plans, and market penetration strategies.
  • Analyzes key performance indicators (KPIs) and market trends to provide strategic insights.
  • Engages strategically with partners to improve win rates and manages quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly sales quotas.
  • Leads contract negotiations with major clients, overseeing contract terms and renewals.
  • Manages the sales pipeline and implements pipeline management practices.
  • Conducts regular strategic business reviews with key clients to assess long-term goals.
