Requirements
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline, or commensurate work experience.
- 7-10 years of work experience in account management, tele sales, or product specialty.
- Proven ability to successfully deliver quota on a quarterly basis.
- Experience selling into the US Army is preferred.
- Strong skills in business development, cold calling, and conflict resolution.
- Proficiency in customer relationship management and outside sales.
- Ability to work on complex problems requiring in-depth analysis of multiple factors.
- Effective communication and results orientation skills.
- Demonstrated learning agility and digital fluency.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates subject matter expertise and employs consultative-selling techniques to identify and advance opportunities.
- Coordinates and owns account plans for strategic commercial accounts, focusing on larger deals and portfolio management.
- Identifies complex customer requirements and maps them with the organization’s capabilities.
- Builds strong professional relationships with high-level clients and aligns solutions accordingly.
- Develops and executes sales strategies, territory account plans, and market penetration strategies.
- Analyzes key performance indicators (KPIs) and market trends to provide strategic insights.
- Engages strategically with partners to improve win rates and manages quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly sales quotas.
- Leads contract negotiations with major clients, overseeing contract terms and renewals.
- Manages the sales pipeline and implements pipeline management practices.
- Conducts regular strategic business reviews with key clients to assess long-term goals.
