Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • 5–8 years of enterprise account management or solution sales experience
  • Proven experience working with Federal System Integrators, defense contractors, or government-related customers
  • Background in selling into federal programs or highly regulated environments
  • Strong understanding of enterprise networking technologies including routing, switching, firewalls, and L2/L3 concepts
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from prospecting to close
  • Experience engaging senior and executive-level stakeholders with strong consultative selling skills
  • Strong business acumen with ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Active Top Secret clearance preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own strategic account plans for federal system integrator and defense contractor accounts
  • Identify, pursue, and close large-scale opportunities across hardware, software, and services portfolios
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with customer stakeholders, including executive decision-makers
  • Drive pipeline development through structured account planning, forecasting, and opportunity management
  • Collaborate with partners and internal teams to strengthen solution positioning and improve win rates
  • Leverage consultative selling to align customer requirements with enterprise networking and technology solutions
  • Manage quota attainment and revenue performance across quarterly and annual targets
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources to execute complex, multi-party sales engagements
  • Monitor competitive activity and adjust account strategies to maximize growth opportunities
  • Ensure accurate pipeline tracking, reporting, and disciplined sales execution
