Requirements
- 2–5 years of accounting, finance, or fintech operations experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting reconciliation, debits, and credits.
- Direct experience with K-1s, 1065s, and partnership tax structures.
- Proven experience managing external vendor relationships to deadlines.
- Ability to operate autonomously and build processes from scratch.
- Proficiency in utilizing AI tools for workflow optimization.
- Experience working in a lean, high-ambiguity startup environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end K-1 project lifecycle and coordinate partnership tax returns.
- Oversee relationship with third-party CPA firm to ensure milestone delivery.
- Process and reconcile club distributions against source financial records.
- File and maintain multi-state entity compliance and franchise tax reports.
- Respond to member inquiries via Zendesk within 48-hour SLA.
- Develop and maintain internal operational SOPs and tracking systems.
- Escalate platform bugs and issues to Engineering.
