Requirements

  • 7+ years of progressive healthcare revenue cycle management experience.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience, ideally within behavioral health, ABA, mental health, telehealth, or closely related healthcare settings.
  • Deep understanding of commercial insurance, Medicaid, telehealth reimbursement, and multi-state payer operations.
  • Demonstrated success improving KPIs such as denial rates, net collection rates, clean claim rates, and A/R performance.
  • Experience building or scaling RCM operations in a high-growth or startup environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging data to identify root causes and drive operational improvements.
  • Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams.
  • Familiarity with healthcare technology platforms, billing systems, EHRs, and reporting tools.
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and retain high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, performance, and scalability of the end-to-end revenue cycle, including authorizations, claims management, denial prevention, payment posting, and A/R operations.
  • Own key RCM performance metrics including net collection rate, denial rate, clean claim rate, cash collections, and days in A/R.
  • Lead initiatives to improve revenue capture, reduce reimbursement leakage, and optimize financial outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to automate workflows, improve system integrations, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Operations and Credentialing teams to ensure payer readiness, enrollment accuracy, and operational alignment.
  • Develop executive dashboards and reporting that provide visibility into financial and operational performance.
  • Contribute to organizational planning by forecasting operational needs and identifying opportunities for scalable growth.
  • Lead root-cause investigations into revenue cycle challenges and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing revenue cycle organization focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
  • Partner with executive leadership to establish and execute the long-term revenue cycle strategy supporting company growth objectives.
